Vulcan XH558

The FSX Virtual Vulcan XH558 display was formed in April 2008. Since its creation the FSX Vulcan has flown 10 displays on flight simulator and 5 flypasts. The team is currently only made up of 1 person as we have recently lost our co pilot and narrator due to time constraints, however, by putting in time every week the display has been fine tuned to perfection for the fsx community, replicating what the real Vulcan Xh558 does in airshows over the UK, supported by the vulcan to the sky trust. The aircraft flown is the IRIS simulations Vulcan B.2 pro series. The Vulcan is a world renowned aircraft, showing British aviation and engineering at its purest and at its best, the Vulcan is used as a figure in british engineering to inspire the next generation of engineers and pilots in the UK, she has been renamed, the spirit of great Britain The pilot of the 2011/12 Vulcan XH558 display:

Flying this magnificent aircraft is 18 year old Sammy Rahman. With nearly 1000 hours on FSX, and 200 real flying hours, he gives credit to this wonderful aircraft during displays. On FSX, apart from flying the Vulcan, Sammy specialises in military, GA and regional airliner aircraft. With almost 200 real flying hours spanning over various aircraft from K21 gliders, Grob Tutors, motor gliders and Aerobatic rated aircraft, he is on his way to becoming a pilot once completing his Physics degree at the University of Portsmouth of which he starts this September. He has flown solo in both a Glider and Motor Glider, through civilian and Cadet routes. As a cadet in the CCF, he reached the highest rank of Cadet warrant Officer, another piece of evidence for his pure dedication to aviation. We hope you enjoy his display in this aw-inspiring aircraft and that he does the aircraft justice.
