Eurofighter Typhoon Display

The Eurofighter Typhoon display team was formed in December and is professionally piloted by Kyle Tubbs, the demo will show the audience the capabilities of the aircraft and some manoeuvres that the aircraft can pull. The delta wing shape of the aircraft shows its distinction from other aircraft, and gives it a large surface area of wing, often thought of following in the Vulcan footsteps.  The aircraft flying the display has just returned from operations in Libya and will go back in one week time. The Eurofighter carries NATO's best weapons. It has a high load Capacity with flexible missile configurations. It has thirteen carriage points, three of which are capable of holding external fuel tanks. The maximum fuel or weapons payload is 6,500 kg (14,330 lb.). Blackpool Airshow is proud to present you with the Eurofighter display.

The Pilot

Kyle Tubbs, is the display pilot of the 2011 Eurofighter display team for Blackpool Airshow. Kyle is a very talented pilot and also is in training for a place in the FSX Red Arrows and hopes to be a fully-fledged red in 2012. Kyle will also be making an appearance in his Iris T-6A Texan II SP2 later on in the display as number two pilot for 'The Storm'. The experience Kyle has as a pilot is great and is well adapted to different roles from a formation pilot to a solo display. Kyle hopes you all enjoy his display!
